WOW, What an exciting night! Last night at Harbour Station, with only 6 cards left in the deck, we guaranteed a jackpot winner and we ended up with 6 very happy winners!
First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Chase the Ace by purchasing tickets and helping our organization raise funds to “improve the quality of life for the residents and families of Loch Lomond Villa.” Together, we were able to raise just over $142,000 for Loch Lomond Villa Foundation from Round 5 of Chase the Ace and the past 13 weeks of hosting the 50/50 Draw every Wednesday.
Thank you to our sponsors/partners K100, Kool 98 and CFBC for their support and promotion on the radio, the 3 Mile Steak and Rib House for hosting us every Wednesday evening. The Simonds Lions Club and Loch Lomond Villa for operating our overflow location. And a huge thanks to our secondary prize donors Loch Lomond Mitsubishi and Matt Tufts RMT, Teed Saunders and Doyle for being our official cash counters this evening their support was greatly appreciated and to Harbour Station for all their help with the event.
And a big thank you goes out to all the volunteers who have helped in one way or another over the past two years. From pre-ripping thousands of tickets, to selling tickets every Wednesday, to all those involved in making last night a success I cannot thank you enough. Without our volunteers we could not have raised these funds in support of Loch Lomond Villa residents.
Last night we sold a total of $27,220 in 50/50 Tickets and gave away $13,610 to Kim Richards and Michelle Robertson who had split their ticket purchase.
Then we drew the first ticket for Chase the Ace. It was a blue ticket and unbelievable the same two women Michelle Robertson and Kim Richards and a third Stephanie Cyr who had all split tickets that night won the guaranteed 20% of $15,306! But they did not flip the ace instead finding the 3 of clubs.

Removing that card from the deck we drew another ticket this time a red one. That winner was Scott Mercer who tried his luck, unfortunately flipping the 10 of Hearts but he did walk away with $1000.
Removing that card from the deck we drew another ticket this time a green ticket. That winner was Wanda Craig who also did not flip the ace but found the king of diamonds, but won $1000.
Finally, we pulled the fourth and final red ticket from the drum. With only 3 cards Adam Wilkins had a 1 in 3 chances of finding the ace of spades. Choosing the middle card, he did just that, flipping the ace of spades and winning the jackpot of $74,565!!! But Adam was like many people and had bought tickets for multiple people. When he turned his ticket over it was his girlfriend Leah’s name written on the back. Therefore, he ensured we wrote the winning check in her name.

Thank you once again, and congratulations to all our winners!
We will be taking a few months off before starting a new round of Chase the Ace.
